Flickers

Everyone looks for the answer

But they do not know the game

Trying to rid them of this cancer

Is harder than giving blame.

When two look to become one

When time will seem just right

When life seems to have won

When darkness turns to light.

Nobody can hear my voices shout

Nobody can hear me cry.

Nobody can win my heart out

Nobody can watch me die.

For I am one and one and only

For life has become mine today.

For when tomorrow becomes more lonely

For that is when life will pray.

So when your light flickers clearly

When your murmur follows pain.

When your mind can not think clearly

Then the skies begin to rain.

Fear not my friend for you are safe

From the dungeons fearful clasp.

No plane will harm the peaceful journey

Unless you wish to embark.
