Five Things You Didn't See

Look at little closer and think a little harder before making that choice.

One.

A girl with her hands waving high. She was waving at you, despite that she's so shy.

Two.

Her scatter brain, with your words in her head, driving her insane.

Three.

Her late night songs. She listened all snuggled up in your shirts that were way too long.

Four.

Her glimmering eyes, silently begging you not to say your goodbyes.

Five.

A beautiful soul, that would one day heal even though you took your toll.

Five things you didn't see.

Well, not until now, but you already took your leave.

She's gone and far away, all thanks to you. Now aren't your mistakes hard bites to chew?
