Fire

The Poem

Fire is a deadly thing,

If all humans see it they will sing,

Aaah!

We get too scared,

And put in what we find,

Now we are here

We are not kind

A frog, a toad, a leaf, a road,

A t-shirt that my sister sowed,

Is what we put in when we are scared,

whilst others are already dead.

As it rises, we run and run,

Soon it becomes the great fire of London!

Fire is a deadly thing,

If humans see it they will sing,

Aaah!

It is red and scary,

Add less water and it becomes flary,

Up goes the soot and smoke

Then come the fireman bloke,

They flood the fields with their weapon,

They teach the fire a valuable lesson.

Now all the chaos comes to an end,

The fireman are to commend,

No one wants to see another fire,

It is not even Hades' desire!

Fire is a deadly thing,

If humans see it they will sing,

Aaah!
