Find Me

A Poem About Being Surrounded by People but Still Feeling So Alone

When it's dark I can see

When it's quiet I can hear

When I look around me

There's nobody near

I preach to others

It's not suffice

I can't even listen

To my own advice

I tell myself things

I no longer believe

As dusk turns to dawn

And day turns to eve

I find myself wishing

I wasn't alone

But the company of enemies

I somehow condone

I long for an answer

Out there somewhere

I keep on searching

For someone to care

To Guide me through days

Come dark and bright

The warm, and cold

And into the night

When I am found

Bear with me please

I'm on the ground

I'm on my knees

Take me in

Set me free

All of my worries

Will no longer be
