Ferris Wheel

A Poem Written Through Major Distress

our love is like a ferris wheel, spinning around

our love is like a ferris wheel, we’ll always go back down

sometimes I get scared and cry, maybe even fear I’m going to die

the constant circles manipulate my mind

I long to leave the pain behind

trapped beside you, a painful dream

my heart hurts, it’s slowly lost its gleam

breathtaking moments drop to nauseating atonements

why can’t this unceasing bickering come to an end

you truly were my best friend

I wish I wish we could get stuck at the top

but of course you went and had to get off...

heartbreak
