A Poem About Those You Thought You Could Trust

Image via stocksnap.io

You’re words are sweet; like honey and rotten meat.

You’re smile is warm; like weeping hives after the swarm.

You’re only able to do well; making others fall to your spell.

You’re always there; pretending to care.

You’re never wrong; your list of hypocrisy is long.

You’re always the victim; always laughing while you make others kick em’.

You’re perfect in every way; another reason the real never stay.

You’re never really alone; always hammering it into the bone.

You’re always succeeding; all the while others receive a beating.

You’re always swell; which is why I now bid you farewell.
