The way I dreamt of you was unlike

Anything I’d ever seen.

In my mind’s eye your were ethereal.

In my heart you were powerful.

I never imagined being so wrapped up in emotion that I couldn’t comprehend.

You made it feel new every time.

More than your body I enjoyed your company.

Feeling your warmth on me, hearing you breathe when you sleep.

It was my melody. I still move to it sometimes, when I’m alone.

When I think of you, I hear that Mary J Blige song “You Are Everything” play

You gave me that 90s RnB feel.

Like “4 Page Letter” feels. It was real when I was with you.

I pray I never forget these memories, my dreams

... and I’ll never forget us.
