Feather

Fly Across the Sky

Perilous Journey

The viciously ripped away feather soars across the sky, taken by the ever changing wind

Whipping this way and that, left, right, back, and forth

The sky is baby blue and clear of any blemishes left by puffy clouds

The sun beats down, searing hot to anything that flies throughout the pale sky

Wind withering away to a mere cough, the feather begins to float downward toward Earth, making a perilous journey

Birds of all kinds rip past it like bullets, not paying any mind to the fragile feather

Tree branches scrape and tear at it brutally

Bees buzz and fly by

Antlers ram against the tiny feather, making it soar into a stream where it runs from the terror
