Fear

Who is it?

There is one creature

That keeps us on the bleachers

Confines its victims to be dreamers

Even though they have perfect demeanor

It takes our breath away

Making us stay up late

Holding back the things we want to say

And being completely cliché

We become so animated

Think our lives must be painted

But really no one should be humiliated

All they need is to be liberated

From what? From fear

Yes it's always here

Though never sincere

Like a foolish dare

Fear isn't fair

So why let it stay near?

It's a different kind of gear

Let it push you to the limit—and to a new frontier

Don't let it lie to you

It is a mere tool

Not something meant for you to forever dual

So be the person YOU always knew, not who others are used to

About the Creator

Pippa Ramirez

I've grown up writing poems whenever there was an opportunity. I love inspiring people to do what they love and writing is my favorite way to connect with those of us who have much to say but very little spoken words.
