Fear

'You'll feel fulfilled,''The fear can't win,'

The deep blue surrounds me.

The monster's arms pull me in.

I try to take a breath,

But my world is growing dim.

He suffocates me quietly,

Not giving any slack.

I open my mouth to scream,

But the screams are all pushed back.

The dark liquid fills my lungs

And my life is quickly fleeting.

I've finally faced my fear,

But I'm taking quite a beating.

'You'll feel fulfilled,'

'The fear can't win,'

But these words mean nothing

When the water's pulling you in...
