Fate Found Us

True Love

The spotlight shined upon the stage,

There before me I caught your gaze.

Before we spoke our connection was made,

The hand of fate had sealed us in its haze.

Your band played on what a joyful night.

When the music stopped was my feeling right?

I stepped outside, and who should appear?

The man whom was playing music so dear.

I later found out he had gone searching for me.

We had a talk, it was love at first sight,

We exchanged numbers, and bid each other good night.

We met up the following week,

Coffee in the park which was so sweet.

The sun shined upon our heads,

The spark between us was fully fed.

Love had found the two of us,

It was out of our hands, we were just meant to be,

We decided to date immediately.

That fateful night you were upon the stage,

When we met each others glaze,

Was months and months ago,

And here we are happily in our haze.

Our future together is no longer a maze.

We forever have each other, together we stand,

Our love is strong, our love is real.

We have found our true loves,

And we both know for sure that this is how it should feel.
