Falling

Down and Down

At this point the ground opened, swallowed me up

Next thing I know, I am falling, darkness, engulfed

I stretch my hands hoping that

Someone,

Somehow,

Somewhere would save me

But no one came, my wings ripped apart

Still falling, the more I struggle, the faster I fall

It was at this moment she came

Also falling, we fell, together

But the moment we touched,

We knew we could fly only if we were togther

So we flew out of the pit

Only to get to the surface and then she pushed me again back in

While she escaped

So I am back there again

Falling

Falling

But this time, I didn't stretch out my hands for help.
