Fall Love

Autumn is my favorite season.

Crispy different colored leaves

Warm scents of pumpkin filling the air

People covered in scarfs and beanies

The wind blows softly through barren trees

The cold harshness of winter has yet to come

But, the sizzling death of summer has gone

Students shuffle through endless hallways

While children play in the fallen leaves, pulled together in piles

Couples young and old walk together, hand in hand

Some hold warm cups with brown, almost golden liquid

Others laugh and admire the various combinations of yellow, brown, orange, and red

People in shops hand Halloween decorations in celebration

Falling in love with a season is simple

Seasons are beautiful and unique

Much like humans in a way

Which is why Fall is my favorite season

However, as beautiful and amazing as fall can ever be

Nothing will ever compare

To how I fell in love with you

For you are my favorite season of all because I have you all year round
