If only I knew my emotions the way I know how my body moves.
I would express to you the sadness that flows through my veins like the way my body bends, I would tell you the fear I hold inside myself like how my right leg holds my body weight as the left extends outward and off the ground.
I would explain the lack of confidence I have in the energy that flows through my limbs, the depression that stops me from breathing in an attitude turn. The hunger that I can never sedate in a battement, the passion I have to be better but no motivation to do so in a leap.
If only I knew myself like how I know my body because if I could explain to you the darkness I hold within without words maybe you'd understand me better.
