Enough

I hope no one ever feels this way.

Do you ever feel like you're not enough?

We all do, at one point.

Start to think you're the shit,

No one can touch you.

Not even God himself.

You are great, you truly are.

But sometimes you don't feel great enough

Do you ever feel like you've lost control?

Over your love life, work, school… yourself? Your mind?

You want to tell someone,

You want to put it into words.

Not a single combination of 26 letters could even begin to describe your feelings, thoughts, wants, or needs.

You don't fully understand it either.

Do you ever wonder what someone's doing behind your back?

When you're not around?

When you're not looking?

I can tell you a few things.

They are telling someone else they love them,

That they are beautiful, smart, pretty, and the best thing that's ever happened to them.

Or they could be telling someone that it's a dream come true to hear her say she wants to be with him, but that it's too late, and she should've told him them before he got back with you.

Because hearing her say that is a dream come true… isn't it? I mean that's what you told her

That's what you kept telling her.

She's a dream come true.

She's a dream come true.

She's the one.

She's perfect.

She's everything he ever wanted.

She is what he wanted. Not you.

Yes, he's laying next to you in bed,

He tells you

I love you more than anything.

I want to marry you.

I don't look at any other girl the way I look at you.

Deep down inside you want to believe it.

You want to believe he really does love you.

Shit, maybe he does.

But maybe he loves someone more.

Maybe he thinks of her when you two are intimate.

Maybe he dreams of her when he's asleep next to you.

Maybe you're not the one he wants to see walking up the aisle on his wedding day.

Or maybe,

He just wants a good fuck from her.

He's just tired of being with one girl.

He's done being tied down.

And look where we are, back at the beginning.

Maybe he just thinks you aren't enough for him.

Maybe you just aren't enough?
