End Percent

A Poem

I wake up at 100%.

Then something happens,

and next thing I know:The number gets lower and lower.

And time gets slower and slower.

And it's counting down, we're

running out,

Out of time, out of mind.

Right?

50%

Oh no, It's halfway done.

What happens when I have none

left?

Will I even survive the trip?

Will I even get to say goodbye?

Don't worry, it's not like anyone will

stop by, to say hi.

Right?

10%

This is the end.

I'm ready for whatever's next,

I slip and fall and hit my head.

And wake up in a hospital bed,

I am Katie Harder...

Right?
