Ego

Human

Man attempted to correct Mother Earth

as if She had done wrong

as if man did all right

We can not own a flower

Only the labor of harvest is for sale

When it is valued most

And so we created power

Maybe we are the “devils”

Our ending possessions

Pointing each other in different directions

Further differentiating the same affection

One assumption is to believe

Something in the hand grants ownership

How rewarding to temporarily cling?

Yet is that not every thing?

We were all seeds

Now some have “needs”

Believed we were empty

Have we been fulled?

Believed the need for fulfillment

Or unjust simply ruled?
