Eden

A Garden

I’m aware that the garden of Eden is no place for a sinner

Especially for those unable to find their inner

Peace. The flowers are blooming and it’s no longer winter

Meet me at the garden to drop petals by the river

I’m in need to clear my head; I’ve been suffering chronic headaches

Constant fetal positions in bed; my insomnia needed a break

I’ve been sleep deprived since Thursday; my body can’t bare the exhaustion

I’ve been documenting contents from my brain too often

So help me relax while we

Both examine the trees

And wait for a fruit

To appear from the leaves

I’ve grown patience lately

And trust me

It’s a great virtue

This song gave me inspiration to write this wonderful piece.
