Ecstasy Filled Pleasures

Tears run down my face as smoke fills my frail lungs..

i sit unsatisfied of life, my vision blurs..

my addiction grows as the devil herself decides to take over and soothe me with these cravings,

that spread like a wildfire through my head..

poison contaminating my body, tainting my soul, corrupting my life as i sit, as i lay, as i stand….

intoxicated, under the influence, under an illusion, underestimated,

misunderstood as i stood there swaying in the dark as i watch my life, my well-being, my contentment, my aspirations, plummet out my grip

as i lay, as i stand, as i sit, cigarettes and blunts` Pass my lips as i blow it all away for a couple minuets of relief,

she sits near me offering me alleviation from my hurt soul promising me ecstasy filled pleasures and endless relief,

as a part of me dies to be happy, i reach out to her and let her in …

as her fingers caress my skin, venom laced bottles touch my lips,

i then become full of bliss, i can’t resist ..

do you know what it feels like to live like this ,

being plucked from society into all of this ,

at this fucking age as hard as it is ..

no father no mother on top of all this,

my lungs continue to wheeze, i suddenly forget how to breathe...

she runs her hand down my back and encourages me to leave,

but i fight the temptations and continue to breathe ..

as i sit, as i lay, as i stand, i hear a little voice say it's gunna be okay
