Easy Ride

A Poem

By Jade GraysonPublished 6 years ago 1 min read

Broke down, trial and error.

Close your eyes, another night terror.

In your memory, the pain still lives;

close my eyes, it begins again

Look into the rear view, driving down

life's darkened path, see the demons

staring from behind shattered glass

Some of us grow fast, if only in soul.

Our minds posses knowledge that bodies

shouldn't know.

Should we let loose one day?

Just let the generation we "grew up" with

realize, the things they call crisis is just a slow

ending to a once easy ride.
