She loves living creatures; both small and great. She loves living souls with kindness and Grace. Though she appears unkept on the outside; her spirit is a beauty no man can hide.
Her way is clean and pure; her Faith is firm and sure. Her eyes hold mysteries of the unknown, the fires within are brightly shown. The Spirit within guides her where she goes; always with her, this she knows.
She is a lover in Heart, mind and Spirit; which makes her a warrior for Love, mighty and fit. They call her an Earth Angel; pure of heart. With her, there is hope for a renewed start.

The Fish Song
The room didn’t smell like disinfectants. Its fragrance seemed light and not overbearing. A soft mixture of lavender and mint permeated the space. No beeping machines or any tubes hooked up to four-year-old Kaleeka. Her cacao skin seemed to glow from the light over her head. The family, save for one and the doctors and nurses exited the room like a trail of saints showing their last vestiges of regard.
