Dying Love?

Will you fight to stay?

Endless nights lead to pointless fights,

Screaming and yelling lead to running and bailing,

Anger and beatings lead to sadness and leaving.

It's these things that lead us to question our humanity,

Where we would rather lose their love than our dignity.

We argue then run and hide,

Rather than solving it and killing our pride.

We do what we think is right,

When in reality we've lost sight.

It's hard to see your mistakes and own up,

Instead, we ignore it and fill our cup.

Pain, anger, sadness,

Will all be the main reasons we are driven to madness.

Do we say, "I love you" because we're afraid to be alone?

Or is the love we think we feel just to far gone.

So we see the one we love running and crying,

And we wonder why love is dying.

I am here to say

Everything that comes to mind,

Even if you are blind,

Hearing my words flow,

Might just give you a reason to glow.
