Dulled Senses

A Poem

Blank faces, Empty dreams

In my head I hear the screams.

Looks of amazement, feeling of estrangement

In the end what does it all mean?

Stars shine above me, the ground burns like Hell

Years ago hate began to swell.

Confusion didn't start in the teens, generations of humans,

mind fucked sins birth. Welcome to Earth.

Who's ready to leave?

Seclusion does me good, give me no acknowledgement,

try not to understand

If someone else gets it a straight jacket you'll demand.

Wondrous blindness, not meant to see,

I'm not supposed to know the one who comes to crucify me.

Any hope that might have existed has long since burned away and is part of a fading past.

A dulling of the senses sounds blissful to me.
