First half vibrant
A swelling sea of support
Great enough, strong enough
You're doing it right
You're on the right path
I love you, freedom.
Second half dark
A swampy abyss, infinite depths
One mistake, and all is at loss
Once contained, now an explosion
A never-ending sonic boom
I hate you, powerless.
Will someone tell me
How to tame the beast
The stark dichotomy of light and dark
Slowly drinks my spirit away
Whatever shall I do
When it comes back for another sip?
