Soul's Heart Break

Rain falling on the window telling me my sorrow has just begun.

My heart screams inside at the injustice and the lies. Tears pouring down like a typhoon swelling and consuming my pain.

Darkness welcomed with open arms relying on the shadows to hide my thoughts from the world and myself.

Losing myself in the desperation and hating the man I let get under my skin. Letting him creep in with his deceit and poisonous charm. Pieces of me taken and lost.

Regret pouring in and claiming my pride knowing my blindness to the truth. My heart bleeding and tearing my insides.

Numbness gliding over my soul and releasing me from the nightmares filled with pain. And finally, I can breathe again.
