Dreamful

Solar Visions

These visions pull me under

Again

All I can do is watch

Helplessly

As scenes unfold before me

Showing me

Something I didn't ask for

Showing me

Perhaps?

The way

A solar eclipse

Drenches my consciousness

Drowning it

With these dreamful visions

I don't know what this means

Even within these dreams

My frustration

Is palpable

Nothing is explained

One indecipherable scene

Bleeds into another

Obscure messages

Uncertain imagery

And veiled symbols

Dance around me

Taunting me

For my lack

Of understanding

I'm pulled under

For far too long

I'm drowning

In these visions

But just before the last air

Is ripped from my lungs

I awake, exhausted and sore

As if I didn't sleep at all

To the light of the moon

With mysterious symbols

And disjointed memories

Dancing around in my mind

Beckoning me on

Toward a conclusion

I may never reach

About the Creator

A. R. Ambrosi

I like to write, if that makes me a writer, then rock on!

I started writing as a child because I ran out of stuff to read. So, I only write stuff that I like. If you like it too, awesome! Enjoy! ^_^
