Dream Sequence
"Patchwork memories working their way in..."
I: Crescendo
Patchwork memories working their way in
At the height of surrealism;
Suddenly, here.
Overtakes the mind:
An army of ghosts invading the world,
Of dreams, prophecies, light, darkness.
Suddenly I feel trapped;
What happened to all the times we had?
All the fun memories, all our promises,
Are they as meaningless as the dust we tread?
II: Diminuendo
The times we had; where did they go?
Is the sky still blue? Is the ground still greenish-mud?
But suddenly London Bridge starts

Down.
An evil spirit takes over our very lives;
Destroys the very bonds we call Love and Loyalty.
Where did they go?
Ignorance isn’t bliss.
Instead, it is an all-consuming fire,
Quenching the spring of friendship.
We were one, yet we are now two.
It was all just a dream.
