I: Crescendo

Patchwork memories working their way in

At the height of surrealism;

Suddenly, here.

Overtakes the mind:

An army of ghosts invading the world,

Of dreams, prophecies, light, darkness.

Suddenly I feel trapped;

What happened to all the times we had?

All the fun memories, all our promises,

Are they as meaningless as the dust we tread?

II: Diminuendo

The times we had; where did they go?

Is the sky still blue? Is the ground still greenish-mud?

But suddenly London Bridge starts

N

G

Down.

An evil spirit takes over our very lives;

Destroys the very bonds we call Love and Loyalty.

Where did they go?

Ignorance isn’t bliss.

Instead, it is an all-consuming fire,

Quenching the spring of friendship.

We were one, yet we are now two.

It was all just a dream.
