Down the Rabbit Hole .02

Run run run ......catch your breath as the beast still seeks you

The scent of copper fills the air..your own blood runs

Flowing down staining your shirt

Ssshhhh...crouch down flat face to the ground hear the steps approach

You silence your breath only to gasp out ...Rise and run

The growls of the beast chasing you

All you see is the dark shadow and the thick forest

Leap into the air and climb upwards to see past the leaves ahead

The beast circles and leaves...you are safe

You gaze up to see the hole in the sky

You are Chicken Little and you are the piece of sky that fell

A vast world lays before you.

To the north are large shadows moving about

To the south is the forest you escaped

To the east lies water

To the west lies a void, dark space...fear. Stare, consumed by nothingness.

It moved...the darkness is expanding reaching heights not escapable

It reaches the hole and seeps in

As it disappears the floor which it stood becomes visible...a wasteland

What is next ...?

Travel the paths laid forth and seek the skyfall

Seek truth and freedom of fear

Go to the vast water and see what lies beyond

OR...

Travel back into the green forest

Time will decide for now rest my eyes
