Does This Mean You Are Leaving

Heartbroken Girl

Remember that time you said

"Always and forever"

That time where you used to take my hand

The time you needed me like I needed you

I remember that time

Where we spent each waking second

Together never to separate

Or so I thought

Our lives were so much better

Back when we had each other

Back when everything

Was so much simpler

Is this the reality they told me about?

That in the end is nothing but hurt?

Even though it was once so good

Is our life together falling apart?

Just cause of the hurt

Does this mean you're going to go?

Our friendship and our love down the drain

What am I to do now?

Even though I'm happy now

I can't help but think somehow

That something is wrong here

What happened to the promises you made to me that night?

Why did you lie to me?

Was I not worth the truth?

I guess your promises are meant to be broken

Just like our love

If you can't be true to me

How can you be true to yourself

What happens when everything

Becomes right again?

Will any of this even matter

As we sit under this sky?

And remember how life used to be?

Does this mean you're leaving now?

I watched you walk away

Into that sunset you walked

You took so much of me the day you left

Will everything be right again?
