Do not fall in love with an artist. They will draw flowers in your lungs. And although they are beautiful it is so fucking hard to breathe. They’ll make your troubles wither away and they will become the flowers growing in your lungs. They will replace your veins with the stems of daffodils and daisies. They will make you a better person. But with those flowers came weeds, there’s always weeds. The weeds are problems, problems growing inside the artist, but because you fell in love with them, the weeds become your problems too. They’ll weigh you down until you can’t take it anymore. So don’t fall in love with an artist. Don’t fall in love with me.
