Do not cry for me when I have passed

for it is in each of you that my memory will live and last.

I will not be sad when it is my time to go

For I have loved my life more than you know.

I leave this life and move to bliss

Remember me as I leave you with this.

I shall fly through the skies and reach for stars

I shall see you wherever you are

I shall whisper in the gentle breeze,

“hello my friend” please be at ease

for I have found freedom among the trees

I shall be the earth beneath your toes

and offer hope during your time of woes

I shall be the sun who casts its rays upon thee

I will slide down a rainbow to that pot of gold

and here I will watch your life unfold

The moon will be my light

that will shine brightly in the dark of night.

I am always near and never far,

I will always be as close as the nearest star.
