Divided Culture

Poem

Our culture became divided, we got pushed to one side, they took away traditions, they took away our pride.

Appeasement, we were told, is the only way. We listened to the Libralist they told us what we could, and could not say.

They took away our right to speak, our right to criticise, they told us to ignore what's wrong, to forget and close our eyes.

It's all about equality, they talk the big lie, give some more regard than others, no matter what we cry?

So you lived a life of tolerance, you learned to bow your heads, you forgot you had your own mind, and your heart, it became dead.

Your shoulders they now shrug, but you allowed it to proceed, because they broke your soul and took away your creed.

You lost the will to fight for right, you forgot to how to stand, then it was too late for all, the blood was on your hands.
