I watched you move about, my eyes glued to every motion

My lips fell silent, but my mind was speaking volumes

I thumbed through our memories together

From the day I met you, completely fascinated by you

To the day you asked me to be yours

So many feelings that had come about, from hiding

My desire to fall head over heels to finally saying I loved you

But as my mind pondered and mused over all those,

I suddenly realized… that there was one time

Where i wanted nothing but to be close to you, when you were so far

And you were closer than ever…we had grown closer than imagined

But now, I could barely reach you. So far, so closed… so distant.
