Distance

It's great, it's far, and the path stretches wide, but I still walk.

It's great, it's far, and the path stretches wide, but I still walk

From the deserts to the tundra I traveled,

Day and night, day and night, one day I will be there.

How far have I walked to get to you?

How far must I travel to see your face once again?

My legs, they want to stop as they prepare to break, but my heart tells them to go,

No, I won't stop, and my love can't, I am physically drained

Emotionally strained, I felt your pain, tears, pure, bright.

When I get there, I'll wipe them away, and you'll be happy today

for this distance, its never too far away.
