This is all my dirty work

flashing lights,

blurring wordssweet fake laughs, slurring nerves.I serve you with my smile.

This is every hurried swerveEach “behind you”I feel the burn An intimateexchange returnedIn this room, I have ran miles.

This is all I seem to knowI aim to pleaseI'm pleased to showThe life I live So you can grow Your culture, life, & style. This is all I want to beA waitress neverSeemed to seemA title worthA second gleamBut here I am, and here I’ll be. So here you are, and here we meet. And here you go, And there you needAnother drink.Good evening.
