Did I Miss Anything?

A Love Poem

From head down to your tippy toes,

I love everything in between those;

your nose and mouth, your eyes of blue

and all the bits that hold them too.

I love your feet, I love your hands.

I love your hormones and your glands.

I love your bones and the sinew.

I love everything that is in you.

I love your glasses and your hair.

I love your walk—a courtly air.

I love your touch and soft embrace.

I love the contours of your face.

I love the way my heart beat skips

Every time I kiss your lips.

I love the way you make me feel

That love is now, and love is real.

I love the music in your name

And love the thought… you feel the same.
