Diction of Irritability

Thesaurus Play

Readily available to be angry.

Under many conditions enraged,

Feeling wrathful and your blood's boiling!

All because of irate.

Irritability sustains this grumpiness,

That cantankerous point of view,

We find you quite disagreeable

You grouch, so perverse so blue.

“You’re crabby, cross, and a crank.”

You are annoyed, waspish, and ornery,

Ill-humored, ill-natured, and mad!

A blast from the past might say crotchety

While surly may surely come through.

Snippy closings aside

Snappy endings reside

What few words may incur

Bemoaning emotions astir,

In finality may you find: easy-going.
