Depths of Love

with my pen I spill the ink of love...

I will add every emotion

so everyone can experience

what a rollercoaster love really is.

I shall not choose only one font

because love is unique.

I refuse to edit my words

to remind people that love is flawed.

I won't have a final chapter

to show how endless love should be.

so I let the ink smear on the page

to highlight the truth of love.

a relationship is like finding washed up glass—

the heart is the ocean, filled with hidden treasures

it will have pieces of itself being compelled by the riptide to move out of the depths and onto the shore,

where the unique pieces can be collected

and then the ocean has no rule over what it has let go
