Depression

A Lonely Disease

There's still more to come

More bad days, It's true

Life doesn't get easier

You just learn to get through

Climb over obstacles

Overcome your biggest fear

Battle your sub-conscience

Learn to listen, not just hear.

Find solitude where it's least found

Learn who respects you

And the ones who don't,

Are the ones you most expect to

It's not a smooth ride

You think life's not worth living

But deep inside somewhere

You've got something worth giving

Don't ever give up trying

Or try giving up

If I had healing powers

I would present them in a cup

If you could drink them

And even just for a day

Be worry free and happy

Keep your troubles all at bay

A lonely disease

That is not clear to the eye

Doesn't make it any less there

It's just on stand by

And when night falls

And you're by yourself

It starts to creep in

And you call for help

No one hears you cry

No one hears you scream

Wake up now,

It was all just a dream

But it's not a dream

To you this is real shit

No one has the time

They just say "deal with it"

But please remember

When you think you're worth nothing

You're wrong and to someone

You really mean something

Don't be scared,

Don't be afraid

Life is a game

Waiting to be played.
