Déjà Vu

Déjà Vu

If there was a place.......

Where I can sing with the stars

Ride on a unicorn

Fly around with fairies

Be someone's prince charming

Flying in the clouds,

Live in a place full of smile and void of sadness

A place that breathes soothing melodies of singing trees

Animal talk and I understand

That's where I want to belong.

But standing in front of my mirror

Looking at who is at the other end makes me sad

Mostly because I think of her, her, most times

And I cry because the Me she knows is totally different from who I truly am

And I know when open up she wouldn't want to stay no more

So I have got to fight

Get stronger, pull off the weakling cloak

How can I be her man, if I ain't a man

Her eyes, captured me

Her nose, perceived my soul

Her mouth, poured out songs

Her ears, heard my every heartbeat

Her heart, connected to mine

Her mind, so powerful to understand my world

Her body, the greatest work of art

She, an angel sent to save me

I would not mind giving her my all

But what if it is Déjà Vu all over again?
