The snow fell quietly
The air thick with cold
Warm breaths filled the air
She loved in her own way
He loved like everyone else
And when he knelt down on his knee
She held her breath; she didn't want to hurt him
"I'm not a Lady, never have been."
She went to war
He stayed, heartbroken
He didn't know what she saw; he didn't see the blood and the fire, and the fear
He didn't know if she would ever come back
Time had passed
In the snowy, deep woods
a thin figure appeared
just as she should
He was waiting
She had hoped he wouldn't
There he stood, strong and bold
She walked out into the open
She whispered, "Hello."
