Dedicated to Nobody

Words like failure run from your lips, and flashes before mine eyes.

I often find myself trying to seize the pain from showing up on my face.

Often feeling disoriented, I trip over my words.

I trip over every synonym, every antonym and every verb.

Often feeling lifeless, I try to cover every obscure sore and every wound.

But you’ve gashed me with your obscene language.

Your happiness is merely a sham, and your love is merely a façade to hide your deepest and most lamentable memories.

Your emotions are often deplorable, every night you are awakened with a flood of disappointments

reminding you of the love you took for granted.

Again this poem is dedicated to “ Nobody”.
