Death of a Best Friend (Pt. 4)

The Emotional Pain

The anger

When they are gone you’ll be angry

You’ll feel like bringing out the bottle of brandy

How could they leave you alone? How could they leave at this time?

You’ll beg and beg to get them back, for it feels like it’s just a crime

Hoping that when you open the door, they will be there waiting to greet you

Their presence will be gone, but you’ll be too upset to know that it’s true

You’ll be alone and lonely, remember they are happier now

They loved you till the very end, you gave them all you could somehow

You gave them a happy life, never forget that

For they will be forever grateful, and that is that

You gave them the best you could, you loved them

and they loved you forever, no matter what was to come
