Dear Little Me,

I'm sorry for who I have become

Back then we were so young

I fear you will grow to dislike yourself

Comparing who you our based on labels on a shelf

You'll start to feel alone

But those feeling can never be shown

Please don't lock yourself away

For it's a heavy load you'll never repay

Please don't cry little one

As tears become your chains

And they will say that you aren't sane

It's too late as like has signed your lease

And there is no such thing as a swift release

Stuck in a constant motion

Of never showing true emotion

I don't want to hurt you little one

But you'll never be stable

And they'll mark you with a label

Lost in a calamity

As you fear your own humanity

I'm sorry little one

But I led you to your demise

By wearing a disguise

I MADE THAT MISTAKE!

By dream while i'm wide awake.

You'll forever walk in sorrow

Cause they destroyed all hopes for tomorrow

I. Am. Not. who you knew

Let those words become taboo

Little one,

I brought you this storm

Causing the way we see the world to be dis-formed

Light and dark collide

Casting shadows on this life you can't deny

Dear Little Me,

I'm afraid you won't be believe that you are smart

But you were intelligent from the start!

Sleeping is your war

When waking up becomes a chore

I' afraid that change is long over due

If only this could have reached you.

Can you forgive...

The life that I've lived?

Your future seems so massive

And it's that fear that holds you captive.

Dear Little Me,

I'm that you will see...

That people aren't so kind

As sadness corrupts your mind
