Dear Generation Next

A Letter to the Next Generation

2016 was a mess

And 2017 isn't the best

Brexit sending people home

Or out in the streets all alone

American elections give us fear

Cause we know it'll affect us here

David Cameron packed his bags

After ripping up English flags

Clintons being told off too

And who could have ever thought or new

Celebrity's Biting the dust left and right

The news flashing on our phones in the middle of the night

Drones and cameras up in space

Are getting more piece than this place

School grades going up and down

Whilst smug old adults scowl and frown

We look at children as if naive

But hey have more tricks up their sleeve

So be prepared generation next

We are handing you our old building bricks

I hope you are mentally prepared

Because you have a lot to fix

I’m a older teenage girl from England and I believe that it’s time that more teens got out there and decided to express what they are feeling and how to make the older generation understand. That’s what I’m here for
