There will never be another.

For you grip what remains of my heart.

There is no longer space for anyone else, for only you dwell there.

No one will ever understand my loss.

For they never understood our love.

I'll cry myself to sleep for the next few months, weeks, then days

But I'll still convey daily as if you still remain with me.

For you my love is eternal; until death shall I retreat.

If you should ever find a new love, I'll turn and walk the other way

Mourning for your loss in that widow way.

For myself always be true, worthy of the love I have for you

Even if you never see, for there my heart will always be

To be alone forever; never will there be another

For my love is gone, and I'd rather die alone.
