No one knows my day-night dream
A constant vision im forced to see
I invite you to step into my world of darkness
Graze the blade just to feel the sharpness
The darkness in my soul
Young body but entity of a man who's old
The way I yearn for toxic love
The love I'll never get
Yet the only love I'll accept
Darkened by a painful past
My future is so hard to grasp
So clouded, almost blinded eyes
You'd think by now I'd realize
To break the cycle would be the best thing
But I've grown accustomed to suffering
So stuck by my own doing but it would seem
I can't wake up from my day-night dream
For I was never even asleep
My day dream lasts into the night
It's not at all a pleasant sight
But it is my world, it's what I see
It feels the way it's supposed to be
