Thought train lost, excitement gone.
Blind to the moment as your subconscious takes over.
You're in a much better place where anything can happen.
A game of pretend that feels so real.
Time stood still while your mind wanders on.
A new environment for your lucid thoughts.
Why can't it last just a little longer.
Why must this dream state end at all.
Your brain has taken a little break
Current reality must now come clear.
But worry not, that pleasant escape.
Will come again another day.
The dreamer's boredom is too much to bare.
It must break free just now and again.
Keep going on until the next time.
When no one is looking you can dream again.
This world is too harsh for constant vigilance
An escape required at least now and again
Take a tip from those who are in the know
And let your mind try a little daydreaming.
