The Light of Each Mile Traveled
Dark and wild like the sea
Let your imagination run and free
Reading your mind in whistling by
Send them dancing to the sky
There is so much to be had
There is so much to be find
If you never lose your breath
Real finds you never fly too high
Look deep into your eyes
Insecure with accepted lies
You are the question in answer
Knowing you only come closer
Silence burns inside
Slowly begin unwind
The light of each miles traveled
In secret your story started
I love black in night
And white felt just alright
As long as I still alive
You will be poetry in my life

Gossamer
"Murray! Wake up!" He loved that period between waking and dreaming. To him, it was like entering another dimension; more of a dreamscape than dreaming itself. There was an otherness to it that he wanted to grasp and yet deeply respected the fact that it could never be his totally. This is what gossamer was; flighty and light, a wisp of smokiness, an idea suggested but not fully revealed, a slit in cloth, a copse in the wood.
