Deep inside of a soul, some might search for a shining, bright light...

Some, while searching, find darkness and no light of any kind...

Every night, when you rest your head on a soft pillow...

Millions of thoughts attacking your mind and you just keep staring at the window...

The lifeless, senseless, numbness body slowly poisons the heart...

With a broken soul, maybe even not wanting anyone, yet your heart is still filled with love...

Not being able to cry and having tears roll down on a person's cheeks...

They might still have the unexplainable pain like no one else feels...

Getting weaker and weaker by each passing day...

"What is my purpose?" you might ask; What is there for me?...

Who is to guide us through the darkness, through the days we fear?

Laying on a bed night after night, still the days are the same...

Like a doll being senseless, lifeless but still trying to fight each day after day...

To some it may feel like not a spark of energy left in the body, nothing to lose, nothing to gain...

With a broken heart and shattered soul, our heart is bleeding and our soul cries...

Cries out into the night, because the little hope we have left inside of us is in the sky...
